Connected Shopper: Connected Shopper is a proprietary tool of Kantar TNS (earlier TNS Global) for Shopper Research. It helps clients identify activation opportunities to maximize brand conversion.

Problem: The Indian retail space is unique in terms of its structure, demographics, cultural norms and economics. A major chunk of the retail landscape is unorganised retail consisting of mom-and-pop stores, street vendors etc. India is seeing a rapid growth in retail sector (CAGR > 9%). Showrooming has become a very common phenomenon and with a beautiful mix of Indian traditional forms of art and cuisines, flavours, colours and designs thrown in, it can be described as an organised chaos of aspirations, money and jobs - of life, throbbing through the heart of a booming economy.

Solution: Our client - a major telecom player in India - wanted to re-visit their idea of a customer and trace his/her journey from beginning to the end. This involved evaluation of all the touchpoints - inside stores as well as outside stores.
